Hitting lots of clothes.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

It took me a while to create this sound using my previous techniques on my other punch sounds just added more whooshes to this one and used new plugins for new sounds added to this one. Should be used for huge punch sfx.

Did this punching a shirt 4 times, and then rubbing the shirt with another 4 times. I found it great for torso and leg hits(first 4), and great for de-grappling moves and push aways(last 4).

Punches stopped by hand grab. Best used for self defense.

I used the ben burtt technic to design this punch; mixing a whip tail sound with a the sound taken from hitting a jacket with a baseball bat. This sound is a pitched down recording of a metal knife striking the prongs of a metal fork. I added some reverb and adjusted the eq to make it sound like distant swords striking each other. This was used to simulate the ambient sounds of cutlasses in a pirate battle. In addition to clashing swords, this track could be adjusted to mimic the sounds of a blacksmith working at his anvil or flint and steel in lighting a fire, among other sound effects.

As with my other sounds, i prefer quality over quantity. Here is another sound file that i developed over a couple of days. Similar to ss's pulse cannons, this one features a military battle featuring tanks, helicopters, jets, and strafing runs using high caliber chainguns. A lot of explosions and rocket fire is heard as well, and the audio is a bit loud. Sounds edited in audacity, some sounds recorded irl using my dslr camera system, the mixing was done using filmora9. The freesound files used is listed in the sound sources, rest is what i used online and irl. I did this out of boredom while playing shooter games, since i'm working with 3d modeling i'm getting back into making my own sounds for my games. This "punch" was created by slapping a piece of steak against wood. It's not quite an action movie punch but it sure sounds like a hit. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

A short alarm followed by a beep, which sounds like a missile locking system being used. To create this effect i sped up and changed the pitch of an alarm clock, and followed it by a beep from a tone generator, which created my desired effect. This is not a complete composition. This is a loop i created for people who play d&d or any rpg or game thats similar. It will loop perfectly.
